New Guidelines for Viewing Homes with Hills Residential
Hope this email finds you well, following yesterday’s news in relation to the easing of restrictions for estate and lettings agents.
Hills Residential are pleased to say that we will begin conducting appointments from Monday the 18th May adhering to the government guidelines. We are keen to help you find your future home and get you moving, and would like to assure you that our client's safety is paramount.
We will continue to use virtual viewings before visiting properties in person wherever possible, in order to minimise public health risks. If anybody is undertaking a viewing, including the homeowner and is showing symptoms of coronavirus or is self-isolating, then a physical viewing should be delayed. All viewings should take place by appointment only and involve members of a single household.
We are encouraging people to do their property searching online wherever possible. Initial viewings should be done virtually wherever possible and physical viewings should only be conducted where buyers are seriously considering making an offer on a property.
Viewings will be conducted by appointment only and no open house viewings will take place. We will open all the internal doors prior to the viewing, and allow access to hand washing facilities and separate towels/paper towels. When viewing a property, all parties should wash their hands and avoid touching surfaces.
We will ask you to restrict the number of people who accompany you on a viewing so that social distancing can be practised, and only those in your immediate household should be there.
If we as agents are to accompany clients on a viewings we will follow social distancing guidelines. Where viewings are unaccompanied, we will inform viewers and homeowners how they should conduct themselves to stay within the guidelines. Once the viewing has taken place, the homeowner should ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned with standard household cleaning products and towels disposed of safely or washed as appropriate.
